Physical Description: Like all the Weasley clan, Percy has flaming red hair, though it is rapidly receding at the temples, leaving him well on the way to a life of baldness. What hair he has left is kept short and neat. The edges of his hair are also going grey, a fact that Percy refuses to acknowledge, even though he does own up to the baldness.
Percy is from the tall, thin Weasley mode, with angular feature that come off as rather sharp. He has blue eyes and has worn horn-rimmed glasses since he was in school, though like most of his look, these are secretly for show only. Even his parents and siblings do not know this, but his wife, who is his most trusted confidant, does. Percy is always clean shaven, well groomed, and in perfect order anytime he leaves his flat.
In recent years, Percy is never seen in anything other than floor sweeping robes, generally black for the workday and various shades of green to show his political affiliation the rest of the time. The only exception to this rule is Christmas day, when he proudly wears jeans, sneakers, and his Weasley sweater.
Personality Description: Many would argue that Percy does not actually have a personality, and so talking about it is a waste of space. These people do not really understand him though.
Percy is a very passionate and opinionated man, especially when it comes to family, the proper way to do things, and Quidditch. He takes all of these things very seriously, and as such, can still come off as overly stiff and proper, for his image, though he has loosened up significantly in the last decade, especially around his family and close friends.
He is a season ticket holder to the Chudley Cannons, and often even follows them on the road, to the point that he can be found loudly cheering them on in green robes and a clashing Cannon orange scarf most Saturdays. His wife Audrey was a reserve Chaser on the squad when they met. She was the official mediwitch and trainer for the team through the previous season, but just retired, at least temporarily, to be a stay-at-home mom and assist with her husband’s political career.
History: Percy was a rule follower, an authority figure, and a rather boring, vanilla person throughout his school days. He was a Prefect, and a Head Boy, and dated a girl just as rule abiding and boring as he was.
After school he went to work in the Ministry of Magic, first in the Department of International Magical Cooperation, and later within the Minister of Magic’s office around the time of Voldemort’s return. This caused an estrangement with his family that lasted until the way got too bad and member’s started dying. At that point they reconciled and family became the most important thing in Percy’s life, while work shifted down to second.
After the war ended, he took a position in the Department of Magical Transportation, quickly rising until he was the youngest department head in the ministry. He also became devoted to keeping the magical and muggle worlds separate, as he is convinced it is the only way to keep magical people safe, and to seeing anyone even remotely connected to the Blacks spend the rest of their lives in prison, thanks to the bitter feud between his family and theirs.
Additional Details: Percy’s wand is fir and dragon heartstring, 14 inches long, and almost completely rigid. He wears his father’s wedding ring around his neck and his uncle’s ring with the Prewett family seal on his right hand. He is the de facto leader of the Weasley clan, and takes this very seriously. For the past six years he has been married to Audrey Weasley nee Greengrass, a bright, bubbly woman who has done much to loosen him up, though few see it and indeed Audrey’s closest friends sometimes wonder how the marriage works. They are currently expecting their first child this winter.
