Occupation: Harmonist Leader, Running for Minister- As a Leader, Draco has many political attendances to make and statements to give. He also is working hard in his running for the recently opened position of Minister for Magic. Draco has little time for himself, and he likes it that way, given that most of this personal time is filled with thoughts of the woman he loved and could not save.
Physical Description: Tall, pale, and blonde, Draco has always been a looker of sorts. People tend to swoon over him, even though he has lost a considerable amount of weight since the end of the Second War. Draco is muscular, but very thin, and generally presents himself in fancy attire of both muggle and magical brands.
The blonde often sports subtle stubble, though never going to any full facial hair. He keeps himself looking good, no matter how he feels, because he must to keep his political power, and that is the only way he might reach his goals. Draco has an intense silver gaze, darkening and lightening with his moods, behind which hides his deepest emotions.
There is a large scar diagonally from right shoulder to left hip from a severing charm during his school days. He also has a circular lump in the center of his chest from when his father hit him with the snake head of his cane, and many lashes on his back from the 'Dark Lord' when Draco was forced to bear his mark and his rage. His left forearm bears a very feint skull and snake, a souvenir from his past that reminds him just how much he has changed, how far he has come.
Personality Description: Though Draco has grown immensely from the sour prat he once was, he is still very stubborn and forceful. Ever the Slytherin, the blonde is manipulative and has a way of talking that tends to sway even those hardest set in their ways. He uses his silver tongue to further the agenda of his deceased lover, trying to make the world a more lucrative place.
Draco is no longer selfish in any way, really, though he doesn't show it all that much to most people. Of course, he shows a typical political mindset of caring for the overall world, but inside, he cares for everyone else, and very little for himself. Draco stopped caring about himself when he couldn't save Hermione- deciding he was not worth care as he couldn't be the hero she needed. The hero had always been Potter, and Potter was dead.
Determined and stoic, Draco presents a powerful leader to the masses. He stands tall, ready to take the position of Minister and lead the wizarding world to a future integrating with muggles, making both worlds ultimately better and empowering the masses.
If anyone got to know the man inside the politician, they would see a very sad, tortured soul. Draco deals with severe depression and lack of self-worth, tending toward alcohol when left to his own thoughts for too long. He simply needs something to make the screams in his head stop. He needs to forget.
History: When he was young, Draco Malfoy was a typical pureblood of a boy. He hated those deemed 'lesser' by the other members of his class, and he was a general horror to be around for anyone who was not of the same standing as him. This all changed during the Second Wizarding War, wherein Draco learned that the light was not something to scoff at, his family was not something to pride himself in, and some people were worth so much more than their blood status.
During his sixth and seventh year at Hogwarts, Draco was turned from his pureblooded thoughts to the pro-active mantra of one Hermione Granger- a girl he'd called 'mudblood' and put down his entire school life prior. The two were prefects, they were the heads of their class as far as marks went, and they were the future. It became clear to them both the more time they spent together. Draco slowly fell fully in love with the bookworm, and he defended her to the very end.
Unfortunately, when Potter and Voldemort finally fought each other, both dying at the other's hand, Hermione had tried to interfere. She'd tried to save her hero and best friend, only for Draco's own aunt to murder her with an AK to the back. Draco had roared in rage and tried to attack his aunt, forgetting about his wand and instead pouncing at her, clawing at her throat and face and trying to murder the woman with his bare hands.
Bellatrix had escaped, and Draco was left staring in utter horror at the lifeless form of his one love. His Hermione. From that point on, he'd vowed to work to unite the muggle and magical worlds as she'd dreamed. He would work for her goals, and he'd be damned if he didn't see them reached. Draco would honor his lover and friend in the only way he knew how- he would make her famous in a utopia that could only be found by her grace.
